Note: Extremely rare type of military bust facing left with a gorgoneion on the shield, additionally featuring the rare reverse Spes Avg N, minted exclusively in Siscia during a short second mintage (the famous Invictvs series with INV[ictvs] in the obverse legend). The reverse legend emphasizes the close ties of the city of Siscia, where this coin was minted, with Probus, referring to the emperor as Noster.
