Description

BOEOTIA. Thebes. Circa 315-288 BC. (Bronze, 12 mm, 1.53 g, 11 h). Head of youthful Herakles to right, wearing lion's skin headdress. Rev. ΘΗΒΑΙΩΝ Thyrsos to left above, club to left below. BCD Boiotia 582. HGC 4, 1393. SNG Copenhagen 373-374. Dark patina. About very fine.
