Note: A spectacular, extremely rare, and desirable consular bust, with the emperor holding a scepter topped with an eagle (scipio) in one hand and a globe in the other (Probus usually holds only the scipio).
One of the rarest and most sought-after busts of Probus.
A very rare coin. Not recorded by the RIC or Guillemain!
Only 6th specimen known to me (3 ex. Cited by Estiot/Gysen in RN 2006, including my (ex Gysen) specimen I assume + INASTA 31/960; Auction 34 lot 114 = ex S. Luehti; Lanz auction 132 Lot 500)
