BOEOTIA, Federal Coinage. Circa 395-340 BC. Hemidrachm (Silver, 15 mm, 2.58 g, 12 h). Boeotian shield. Rev. BO-I Kantharos; above, club to right; to right, crescent. BCD Boiotia 40. HGC 4, 1166. Toned and attractive. Good very fine.

Hemidrachm ø 16mm (2.21g). 395 - 340 BC. Mint of Thespiae? Obv. Boeotian shield. Rev. BO-I, kantharos, above mace, right in the field a crescent moon, all within a round incuse. BCD Boeotia 4043; Babelon III, No. 365; HGC 4, 1166. R! Slight toning, good VF.

BOEOTIA. Thespiai. early-mid 4th century BC. Obol (Silver, 10 mm, 0.97 g). Boeotian shield. Rev. ΘΕΣ Crescent composed of three lines, with a dot at each end. BCD Boiotia 599. HGC 4, 1402. Lightly toned. Some porosity*, otherwise,* good very fine.

BOEOTIA. Mykalessos. Circa 400-375 BC. Obol (Silver, 11 mm, 0.82 g, 6 h). Boeotian shield. Rev. M-Y Thunderbolt; all within shallow round incuse. BCD Boiotia 178-80. HGC 4, 1231. SNG Copenhagen 190-1. Porous, and a small edge chip*, otherwise,* very fine.

BOEOTIA, Koroneia. Circa 400-350 BC. AR Obol (9mm, 0.98 g). Boeotian shield / Facing gorgoneion with protruding tongue; K-O flanking; all within incuse circle. BCD Boiotia 171a; HGC 4, 1215. Lightly toned, granular surfaces. VF.

BOEOTIA. Thebes. Circa 405-395 BC. Tetartemorion (Silver, 7 mm, 0.19 g, 4 h). Boeotian shield. Rev. Θ-E Bunch of grapes on vine branch. BCD Boiotia 466. HGC 4, 1383. Golden highlights. Rare issue and well-centered. Good very fine.

Islands off Attica. Aegina, circa 525-480 BC. AR Obol (9.2 mm, 0.70 g.). Sea turtle, head in profile. Rev. Incuse square with 'Union Jack' pattern. Wartenberg, ‘A Hoard of Archaic Obols of Aegina (Coin Hoards VIII.20),’ Aleksanderia (2021), Obol Group IV, 30. Irregular flan. About good very fine. Rare.

BCD Boiotia 30; HGC 4, 1165. Toned, remnants of find patina, a little off center, granular surfaces. Near VF.

BOEOTIA, Orchomenos. Circa 525-500 BC. AR Obol (7.5mm, 0.85 g). Wheat grain / Large square incuse quartered perpendicularly, with additional diagonal line. BCD Boiotia 186; HGC 4, –. Toned, granular surfaces. VF.

BOEOTIA. Tanagra. early-mid 4th century BC. Obol Boeotian shield. Rev. T-A Forepart of horse to right; pellet below. BCD Boiotia 296. HGC 4, 1292. A rare variety with the pellet below the horse. Porosity*, otherwise,* very fine.
